This book Migration Geography is designed to analyse the spatial patterns of male migration only because male migration is a sensitive indicator of economic development of a particular area. The aspects considered mainly are four flows of migration, i.e., rural-rural, rural-urban, urban-urban, urban-rural and duration of residence both in rural and urban areas. Duration of migrant’s residence has drawn little attention of academic community. But this aspect has a great relevance in understanding the evolving migration linkage between different areas and such analysis is itself of great importance in comprehending in process of migration
